Our supported charities

Since its inception almost 17 years ago, the Jelly Bean Campaign Chidren's Charity Award Fund has donated in excess of £1million to many children's charities, in particular the Acorns Children's Hospice in Selly Oak, as well as many other children's hospices throughout the UK and Eire.

As with most charities, local and central government funding only provides around 15% of their funding needs requiring the charities to agressively fund raise to ensure they have sufficient funds to continue to provide the valuable services they offer.  Without the renowned generosity and commitment of the general public, the vast amount of charities would have to to close their doors, and without the specialist services and support they provide, needy children and their families would not be able to receive this important and valuable level of help and support from mainstream local and central government facilities and resources.

To allow these amazing charity funded facilities to remain solvent and continuing to provide their specialist services, fund raising has become a life or death requirement for them, and we are privileged to be able to contribute in our small way to ensuring the continued existence of these much needed facilities, especially so in these present tough economic times with government spending coming under the axe.

Needless to say without the support of the many, many companies that have agreed to home one of our Jelly Bean Campaign Tower Vendors, we could not have donated the £1million+ that we have so far given - we are indebted to all these companies, a selection of whom can be viewed on our 'Supporters' page.

Below is a selection of the many charities that have benefitted from a cash award from the Jelly Bean Campaign
